Shark Attack at Black Head Beach on the NSW Mid-North Coast

A 65 year old man, David Quinliven,  has been attacked by a shark at Black Head beach, Hallidays Point on the New South Wales mid-north coast.

Apparently he was on a surf ski at the time of the attack and managed to alert some people nearby when he got close to shore and they helped him out of the surf. He’d been in the water for about an hour and a half when the shark attack occurred.
